Aquarians feel pretty sassy about 2022, and rightly so. However, as we start the New Year, the energy feels a little sluggish. That’s okay; you’re planning your strategy for the next couple of months anyway. You will want to take your reputation, or fortune, to the next level. 

You have been observing the behaviours of others and know exactly how to navigate yourself into a position of authority and likability.   You see precisely what society, a group, or a company needs to guide through a potentially tricky financial start to the year with news of some unforeseen costs.  Luckily, money is there for you because you’re more frugal than most and didn’t go too hard over the 2021 festive season.

You are also as smart as a whip; your methodology and inventive mind will be heaven-sent with quick, original solutions.   Whether others warmly welcome your ideas is another story.   You see what others miss, and that’s the detail. Please don’t listen to gossip, slander, or read too much into it; stay focused on what you do best, and that’s being objective.    You are the glue a company needs, and your family, too.

Venus Retrograding in January has you thinking about a love affair that took you to the next level.  Were they a foreigner, older or someone far wiser than you at the time?  Either way, they helped you with a love of learning as they challenged the very depths of who you thought you were.   You can now reflect and be grateful for what they taught you.  

What happened eight years ago?  Look back for clues and someone you may have thought was controlling. In hindsight, they were more dedicated and worldly than most.   Perhaps they were slow to show their emotions, and you may have been in fear of being rejected or abandoned.  Your image was everything, and maybe it is again now.   Changes don’t happen in a hurry; be mindful of repeating patterns around material achievements, love, and affection.

Venus finally moves out of an unusually long four-month stay in Capricorn and into Aquarius the first week of March.  She helped you see insecurities around a normally calm and collected public persona.   

With Saturn still challenging an unstable Uranus, there may be drama and upheaval around your career or someone more responsible you rely on.  You’re very serious about security, growth and development in your public life, so don’t let any perceived financial uncertainty affect you.

Jupiter transits your 11th house of good luck, so the goals you set yourself can be realised with minimum effort.  

While May’s Mercury retrograde season, ensure you are still focused on your key performance indicators; keep walking the talk.   A Scorpio Eclipse happens in the same week. Are you looking to change how you are perceived? You may need to let go of an emotional dependency on them.

Mercury is dishing up a treat with four retrogrades this year.  You’re trying hard to be liked, but why not just let your intelligence shine?  Who cares if you have an enemy or two? They could well reflect what you already know and don’t like about yourself. Who is harming who?  It may be time to see a therapist, counsellor or business coach to help you let go of any tendencies to critique others.  Your version of the events could well be skewed by hearsay.

Mars Retrogrades in Gemini during the Scorpio season for just over two months until mid-January 2023. Your intuition will be the sharpest it’s been all year, so watch, wait and listen around others. 

It’s a double-edged sword for both your career and your hip pocket. Do you want to spend money you’ve had invested or been given by another? Or are you a beneficiary of a legacy left? 

You may also be more impulsive than usual, so be careful you don’t make any changes in a committed relationship or partnership that you may regret later.  The problem is about change.   This year will be about settling into the residual karma of 2021 and areas around spirituality, childhood demons and your relationship with the outside world.  It’s a balancing act and one you have the talent to navigate.  It just requires a slight easing up emotionally on your behalf.
