1. Services

The Karmic Soul provides astrological, strategic and private advisory services. The scope, format, timing and fee for a service are those stated on the website, in a written proposal, invoice, booking confirmation or other written agreement with you.

2. Nature of the service

Astrological and strategic advisory is complementary and informational. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, psychological or other regulated professional advice, and it does not replace advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

Astrology involves interpretation. No particular personal, commercial, financial, legal or other outcome is promised or guaranteed. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions and omissions.

3. Information you provide

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, including birth date, birth time, birthplace and relevant commercial or personal context. The quality of astrological analysis may be affected by incomplete or inaccurate information.

You must not provide confidential or personal information about another person unless you have authority or another lawful basis to do so.

4. Bookings and payment

Private consultations purchased through the website are payable in full at checkout. Website payments are processed by Stripe.

For a Strategic Consultation, payment is requested only after the brief has been reviewed and the engagement accepted. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% engagement deposit is then payable to confirm the engagement and authorise preparation. The deposit is credited in full against the agreed fee, and the balance is due 72 hours before the consultation.

Corporate, family-office, executive-retainer and other bespoke engagements are invoiced according to the scope and payment terms set out in the relevant proposal, invoice, statement of work or engagement letter.

Priority Strategic Advisory is a monthly retainer engagement with an initial term of 3 months, billed at US$5,000 per month in advance, continuing until terminated by either party on 30 days' written notice. A retainer agreement, which is sent separately, will be provided electronically for signature prior to any consultation, and no consultation will take place until it has been signed. The retainer agreement sets out the full engagement terms and, together with our Privacy Policy, protects the confidentiality of your corporate and personal information.

A booking or engagement is not confirmed until the required full payment or engagement deposit has been received, or other written arrangements have been agreed. Appointment times are confirmed in writing. Where parties are in different locations, you are responsible for checking the stated time zone.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Bookings are subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms or that policy excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Confidentiality

Client information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

Confidentiality does not prevent disclosure where required or authorised by law, where necessary to protect legal rights or safety, or where you have authorised disclosure.

7. Intellectual property

Website text, articles, written forecasts, reports, methodologies, graphics and other original materials supplied by The Karmic Soul remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, material supplied to you is licensed for your personal or internal business use only and may not be republished, sold, distributed or commercially reproduced without written permission.

8. Website use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content at scale, impersonate another person or use the website for unlawful purposes.

9. Third-party services

The website relies on third-party providers, including Base44 and Stripe. Their services may occasionally be unavailable or interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, The Karmic Soul is not responsible for outages or failures wholly outside its reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps to address issues affecting a purchased service.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Karmic Soul is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on astrological interpretation or from decisions made by a client after a consultation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent law in another jurisdiction.

11. Events outside reasonable control

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including serious illness, natural disaster, war, government restriction, telecommunications failure or material platform outage. Where an appointment cannot reasonably proceed, the parties will seek to reschedule or otherwise resolve the booking fairly.

12. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms prospectively. The version in effect when you purchase a service will govern that purchase unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.

13. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Australia to the extent those laws may validly govern the transaction. Mandatory consumer protections and rights available to you in your place of residence are not displaced where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
